Our Story
Corstar Communications LLC was founded in 1970 in Westchester County, NY. We started by helping local businesses manage their communications infrastructure. Back when that meant PBX telephone system rooms and COAXial cables. Over the decades, moving from Dial Up to DSL to Broadband, and from Mainframes to Servers to the Cloud. Now we have landed as full-service IT MSP, with compliance and security specialists.
Yet we haven't changed our core beliefs:

Started as a telecommunications and cabling company serving local businesses.
Expanded into small business computing as PCs entered the workplace.
Began connecting Westchester businesses, non-profits, and municipalities to the internet for the first time.
Our Premier Director of IT, Alex Simeoforides, joins the team.
Email (Microsoft 365/Gmail) and software Cloud adoption start taking off. These migrations need a new level of cross-departament technology planning, and we stood up to the task.
The start of the modern Ransomware Attack. Recruited new, security trained, team members. They are tasked to protect client data, recover from disaster, and train client staff.
Along with the work changes of the pandemic, Corstar adapted to provide all of its clients the ability to quickly move to work from home setups. We updated our services to match the modern "everywhere, anytime" state of businesses.
AI presents new workflow improvements and capabilities. IT also brings new security and compliance concerns. Many businesses still are not sure what it is or if they are using it.
We have stepped up to the plate by getting trained and certified as an OpenAI Partner. Offering agentic engineering support.
